80 year old shot by pellet gun in Slidell during morning walk

Shortly before 5:00 a.m., an 80-year-old man was walking along the sidewalk of Robert Boulevard, which was part of his morning exercise routine.
The elderly gentleman told officers that he observed a white 4-door sedan, possibly a Toyota, drive past him very slowly. The man saw the vehicle turn around, and shortly after that, he felt a sharp pain in his back.
The same car appeared again and sped off towards Gause Boulevard. The elderly man realized he was shot and called police. The victim went to a local hospital to be treated. He discovered that the projectile from the weapon (believed to be a pellet gun) was still lodged in his back, but thankfully is expected to make a full recovery. Slidell Police Chief Randy Fandal is outraged by the incident and wants justice served for the 80-year-old victim.

When i was a kid, we used to shoot bb and pellet guns all the time............in a crowded subdivision. At the time I never even thought about where those bbs and pellets landed, just if I hit my target. Lord knows how many people I got close to the next block. I guess I thought they evaporated in the sky after missing the targets. But thankfully, 90 per cent of my shooting was at several large ply boards.

Offer a reward. Someone's bragging about it, someone was with whoever shot the gun and willing to receive a reward for ratting him out.
