Serious Question: How does one memorize everything you need to know to fly a commercial/cargo airliner? It just seems like so much to know and then be able to think about “on the fly.”

Lol they don't memorize anything.

When they're going through their pre-flight checks, they're reading the operators manual.

Just shop around and see if you can find an airline still flying the old DC10. That is reliability, (if you can stand the noise and vibration).

Good luck. The cargo carriers aren’t even operating DC-10s anymore.

The MD-11 is becoming more rare. Flew into SHV a month ago and taxied past some MD-11s stripped of all their engines. The 747s still looked airworthy.

Baw…those MD-11’s & 747 belong to Western Global Cargo. They have a maintenance base there.

Passenger on the left side of the aircraft should have a good view of the ground, treetops, and shocked spectators. Our flight plan calls for us reaching around 350 knots and total flight time of 57 seconds until we contact a power line or treetop. Think of us when you book your next flight. “
