Simple Flying
Paging 777, how big of a deal will this be this summer. Is there a good chance of flights on 777's being affected with the testing and maintenance?
And for someone that's taking two 9hr flights on them in July, how about some reassurance they will stay on the plane where they belong?

One little loose screw and it’s curtains. Binge watch aerial disasters on the Smithsonian channel a few days before you fly.

777s been flying for like 25 years- I wouldn’t worry.

With inspections expected to cost in the region of $4,300, the need to inspect all of their 777s presents a significant financial outlay for airlines.
Panic in the crawfish futures market.

Don’t worry. I guarantee you that both flights will make it……..all the way to the crash site.

I know they're extremely safe. This seems to be a recent find that's causing concern.

If you have trouble, grab a walkie talkie from the captain, crawl up to the wing, and use your pocket leatherman to make repairs.

American Airlines 587 went down from the vertical stabilizer sheering off. I'm for any and every preventative measures to avoid things like this

If 777tiger retires end of June that may tell you all you need to know.

You should've booked on Delta! They parked their 777 fleet years ago.
As for $4300, that's pocket change! You can't replace a nav light for that.

AA587 that crashed in Queens in 2001 after the FO ripped the vertical stabilizer off the a300 when he overreacted to wake turbulence would have been a terrible way to go.
That’s the last mainline crash in American aviation. 22 years is a pretty good streak.

you mean the new license in my pocket is fake?!?!?

Does your new license still have Wilbur and Orville’s pictures on the back or did they change it to a trans couple now?
