Been there. It is easy to get in a rut. Work harder at everything. Make the first move in doing it. I didn't and was lucky my wife held on tighter than I did. Learned a lot.

I also do a few other activities that so-called people my age wouldn't normally be involved in.

What you're describing sounds quite normal. There are no perfect relationships. And there's no "oh, I'm just so in love with you and that's why this works." Stop thinking of love as this magical thing that happens. Love is merely two people who choose to be together because. The reason for the because can be anything, so long as the first part is true. All relationships take work. The less work, the more fun/easier it (probably) is. She has a problem with you and has expressed it. If you love her, you should take it to heart and try to address the issue by your actions. That's what it's all about.
