Sorry bud but not comfortable airing out personal details of the lady. You’ll get your confirmation soon in the news

EDIT: In reality this impacts several families. Obviously the victim’s, the wrongfully accused, and now the family of the POS having to carry the weight of her actions.

Sad all around.

Hasn't that been proven to be false?

Not to me. And this case is just one of many that proves the accuracy of my statement.

Why would you come to a thread where cops were clearly wrong and displayed gross negligence and extreme incompetence to argue that most cops aren't dumb? Which LEO agency do you work for and why are you so dumb?

How do you know the identity before the news confirms it? How long have you known? Did they arrest the correct person yet?

Who's the dumb one?

BTW, no, not a cop, I'm a maintenance supervisor.

Yesterday, Cody was finally released on a property bond that took two days to process, according to those close to the investigation.
In 2025, this is absurd. St. Tammany needs to pay this man.

Well, it's beyond messed up that you knew they had arrested an innocent man and you also knew the identity of the guilty party the whole time. I don't know how you sleep at night but like you said it's none of my business.
I hope you never have to deal with a tragedy like your child being killed in a hit and run and the killer is free while people like you conceal the truth. But you do you.

Why was he driving on a suspended license? Seems there might be some history here for the reason they dragged their feet on his release. Not excusing the cops but there may be more to the story outside the hit and run incident.

In regards to “knowing the guilty party the whole time “ word started going around late last night , well after Law Enforcement were conducting interviews , just nothing has been officially confirmed that I know of nor am I asking around just because I wouldn't want to post the wrong information

He shouldn't do that unless she's arrested or identified by law enforcement.

I never once stated or suggested that there is a conspiracy or cover up. You, on the other hand, have said that you know who the guilty party is and you suggested that you have known for some time which means that you knew the wrong person was arrested and that the guilty party is still free.

This isn't some petty crime. Allegedly this lady killed a 6 year old child and an innocent man was arrested for it. The parents deserve to know the truth. The family deserves justice. And you are acting a way too casual about the whole thing.

Hey man, legit you are the one who said you know who the actual killer is.

Maybe one day you will be wrongfully accused and innocently locked up while others know the truth and you might change you opinion here.
But I agree with you it's time to let it go. Hopefully they catch the real killer soon and the secret you are keeping becomes public knowledge.

The police are notorious for not letting go once they make an arrest.

Sounds like he should have been released on an OR bond. Why rack up expenses -- makes the likelihood of a wrongful arrest lawsuit greater. Those suits are not easy, given sovereign immunity.

I did try one where the jury awarded $500k to a woman who sat on a bench in the police station for six hours. This doesn't include $200k in attorneys' fees. We collected too.
