Was in NO last week and passed the new golf facility. Where is the parking? Who in the hell is going to go down there and park then walk to the facility without losing your car or robbed! It's crammed into a tight area. Is there a parking garage? I did not see space available for a large parking area. The Houston facilities have huge parking areas and is always packed late into the night.

There's a decent amount of parking on the Earhart side of the building that you cant see from the interstate. But yeah I'm gonna uber there and back. Don't trust that neighborhood at all.

This full service hotel is going to help NO land great conventions, seeing that this is attached to the convention center. Chicago, Orlando etc have big convention businesses. This helps NO is that realm.

Isn't the knock-off Top Golf located right across from the old Melph projects? Sure, they got torn down but the surrounding neighborhood is still rough.

The WHD isn't safe anymore? I used to live in the Fibre Mills right next door and that was a very fun time

The latter part of this thread is talking about the safety concerns of the Five o Fore Golf place on Earhart Blvd (Central City). The WHD is still fine.

Omni is the only fish that would bite. This “process” has been going on a long time.
The real incentive? Katrina money finally gave out.
