If you consider 97 Spring temps, then yeah, I guess it's still Spring.

I have grown to hate July and August. I basically hibernate inside and there isn’t shite to do

I feel that. It’s pretty miserable. I really wanna go ride right now because tomorrow on has rain in the forecast, but then I start thinking about sitting at stop lights and I question how much I really want to.

Weather people say the GOM and Atlantic are hotter than they've ever been for this time of year.

When I lived a mile from the river bottoms of Toledo Bend July and August, and the first couple weeks of September, were pretty much bank fishing days.
Just sitting in the shade hoping for a slight breeze to move the air while either panfish fishing with a cork and live bait or fishing the bottom for catfish.
There’s lots of 98 degree days with 98% humidity in and around those river bottoms. Just sitting in that kinda sauna is actually draining.

I love the people in the south crying about 20 degree temps for a day or two. Wanting the summer to come. Well frick you 98-99 in mid June. This is what you wished for

I got a swim club membership last year and renewed it this year.
AC or pool are only two options unless you're insane.

I was loving that weather. I hate summer and the summer heat more and more as I get older. I'm planning to move up north when I retire and the kids are out of the house.

June through September are the most miserable 4 months of the year. September is only slightly better because there's football, but being outside still sucks. The other 8 months are tolerable to pleasant.

Lived up north for a long time and this is their best time of the year with maybe a week in the fall, the summer in the south is essentially our winter.

Yep. You just get through these 4 months and it's mostly fine otherwise. I enjoy the weather in December and January.

Same, I can walk outside all day and the fishing is usually on fire.
