This. People act as if gun accessibility is the tipping point in the decision process for these people: "I was going to kill people today, but I couldn't get my hands on any guns, so I just hung out in the park instead." If all guns were banned, this story would have read "4 Marines dead after being run over by Muslim in a car".

This never stops being funny

So this guy was from Hixson, TN. I used to live there and that is crazy to see something like this from that quiet of an area!

Praying for those families!

If we have a pathologized islamic culture, and a pathologized black culture, then we as have a pathologized culture of white supremacy

Hey, when was the last time you saw a 13 year old white kid shooting at cars in downtown New Orleans?

I saw a black kid today so it. #culture

Religion is inherently about radicalization. Tell me what's not radical about the belief that a man died on a cross, rose from the dead and ascended into heaven? Or what about believing Jesus came to America, preached to the Indians and gave Joseph Smith golden tablets, and that when you die you get your own planet? Or that if you live a righteous life you will get 72 virgins when you die?

Religion cannot exist without radicalization. As a Christian, I understand that my beliefs are radical. It requires faith in things that cannot be scientifically proven. The difference between my radical beliefs and those of Muslims is that mine don't call for me to murder unbelievers.

Islam is a plague, and a violent one at that.

No, ill be honest. I dont hope for there to be any shootings, by anyone. Everyone's collective sense of safety is challenged when that happens

Multiple people who said they went to Red Bank High School with Abdulazeez sent the Times Free Press photos of what appears to be his senior picture and senior quote in the school's yearbook.

"My name causes national security alerts," the quote reads. "What does yours do?"

That's my biggest thing about religion. I'm not religious (though I was raised catholic, and just got more logical as I grew up), but have no problem with others practicing religion so long as they don't try to impose their beliefs and expectations on others.

The right has been trying to do it for years with the gay marriage thing (the gays have a right to be as miserable in marriage as the straights) and the muslims killing non-believers. Both are not ok...and we don't need religion to run our society, we need common goddamn sense.

I'd wager that religion has lead to more murders/death throughout history than anything else. Not really the idea...at least I don't think it is.

I'm not gonna get into a war of comparing violent acts by race. Its a battle that will be lost by a long shot.
