That’s the numbers I’m hearing from ex members. All the lieutenants resigned. And Nyx is so big, everyone is loyal to their float Lt. plus everyone hated Julie.

They came up with the phrase Black Lives Matter. They used it as a rallying cry.
When they hear you say All Lives Matter, they believe that you are doing it to drown out their cause
You see it as logical and supportive of the greater good, including blacks in the “All.”

I know some Krewes are delaying dues, committing to a discount for 2022 if no MG, and printing throws with no dates so they can be used next year. Apparently Nyx said no to do anything of those things because she couldn’t deal with the loss of cash flow.

Wow, yes, most are planning for carnival but also preparing for Destroya if there is any possibility of a shut down.

Endymion did not offer discount after parade cancelled but charged an assessment since they won't be selling as many beads and charged dues as usual

I'm curious how those decisions will turn out now with COVID. The assessment seemed reasonable if the tandem mess would have blown over and MG2021 would have rolled relatively normal. Now with COVID impacts... Who the hell knows.
I'm going tonight and bringing a large bag of popcorn.
