You'd think he'd look around at all the men complaining about their wives not having sex anymore and realize he's basically actively seeking that type of woman out.

I edited to exclude the part about that one guy. If he has established a policy of not dating women who will sleep with him early, and also not dating women who won't sleep with him early, he can't be helped. That's not a society-wide issue, though.

But guys trying to bang a girl they just met but also not wanting a long term relationship with those types of girls is pretty standard.

I'm not defending that one douche who has a very unique problem.

We just had a thread on this the other day and plenty of posters said that they themselves have sex with girls on the first date if the girls are down, but they won't date the girl.

My question was: Are you calling yourself undateable? Because you're calling this girl undateable for fricking you early on.. but you fricked her too. Does that mean no one should date you either?

Many guys who have casual sex still consider themselves worthy of dating, but don't consider their female counterparts worthy of dating.

The guy I referenced ^^ actually thinks that women should be this wholesome/perfect person who doesn't enjoy/long for sex.. but this same guy texts several girls a night while we're all out and gets legit angry if none of them want to come over and bang him. Or he'll meet a girl and go on several successful dates and start to really like her. But as soon as she decides she likes him and wants to sleep with him, he is done with her. It's like these poor girls have to pretend to hate sex or something because they're whores otherwise.

Dude is going to wind up a cuckold.

It's a double standard women have to live with.

Now, on a related note, SWAN was also a leader in the fight open combat roles to women and they succeeded. That's going to lead to women sharing more equally in the burden of war and having more military deaths, etc.

Not just no, but F**k no.

Your ignorance is showing here.

I stopped reading right here, so if this has been addressed, I just wanted to pile on.

Yes, it's a double standard. No, women do not have to "live with" it.

I think this article is mostly bullshite, but to say there's not one single area where women are not equal is silly.

And FWIW, there are areas men are given the shitty side of a double standard, and I'm not okay with it either.

A woman can have as much control on things like this as the man.

It doesn't matter someone thinks they are dateable. It's what the people they are trying to date think.

Don't you suppose there are some women out there who think they are dateable but exhibit qualities that say otherwise? Don't you suppose there are women out there who might want to get their frick on but would also say they wouldn't get into a long term relationship with a guy so easily brought to bed or known to be promiscuous?

Sorry, but there will always be men that think like that so you do, in fact, have to live with it.

There will always be racists and perverts and rapists and anything else bad, but we don't teach people to live with it.

Not on an individual basis, which is all that matters when it comes to dating.

Oh, I'm sure there are.

I'm not saying poor women and lucky men here. Just saying there are some posts hinting that every ounce of gender equality is reached.. and meh.. not so sure.

And there are areas where it doesn't need to be. But then areas where it's pretty crappy.

Not wanting someone promiscuous because you don't believe in promiscuity is totally different. That's beliefs you follow and expect a potential partner to have also followed.

Not wanting someone promiscuous when you yourself have been is what's screwed up. And it's WAYYYY more common for men to be the hypocritical one in this particular instance.

But you're right.. this is mostly on an individual level.
I just see places like this website where it's almost a mob mentality against promiscuous women when the men here admit to being promiscuous thmselves.

Theology of the body? Read it if you have a chance.

I'm understanding when it comes to guys having multiple sexual partners when it's not the man I'm with.

I have to admit that it's a really big challenge for me to get over dating a guy who's had a lot of sexual partners. I've only dated one guy like that, and it didn't last. That's the Catholic in me... Catholic guilt is real

I'm going to play devil's advocate here because I'm bored at work and this is keeping me interested. Think of the situation you are talking about like this:

A man's penis is a kitchen trash can and a woman's vagina is an apartment dumpster.

A man can go around dumping his trashcan into all the dumpsters in the city whenever it fills up and his trashcan still smells kind of nice and it stays disinfected.

...but

if a woman allows a lot of guys to all dump their trash into her dumpster, then you start to get a smelly dumpster. No matter how hard you try you just can't get that smell of apartment 3B's crawfish heads from last weeks boil out of it.

That's how those guys think and you can't change stupid.

Okay, I don't agree with that analogy (and I see you don't either), but it's super catchy and funny!

Totally fine as long as you haven't either. It's okay to have different sexual beliefs, and a lot of people aren't comfortable with casual sex.

Personally, I don't care if he's had 10000 as long as he had them while single and doesn't have STDs.

start reading some of the comments and see how long you can read without throwing up. I respect women but this is so bullshite. These people think they are helping women, but they aren't.

Well her example included random men so the vetting process before sex doesn't usually include feminist theory. She may frick a pretty sexist douche and have to deal with his beliefs after.
