My sarcasm meter is broke today so if in fact you are serious I will explain. Yes Seinfeld debuted in 1992, but in one of the episodes Kramer and Newman are telling a story about how back in 1987 Mets first-baseman Keith Hernandez spit on them after Neman insulted him for having a bad game.

yeah, I saw that episode when it originally came out. One of my favorites.
I was being sarcasic, but also salty because I didnt realize they referenced the date it happened in the show. Still not sure they actually did, tbh, although I will give benefit of doubt.
