3 New Orleans RTA workers dead due to CV; 69 out of 550 test positive

Those numbers seem really high. Nothing is opening up anytime soon, at least not in New Orleans.
How RTA is still running throughout the city baffles me after seeing this report. I would not fault anyone not showing up to their job if the work around the public.
The CEO sounds like a badass though.

Someone has to drive the buses and streetcars. Just like the grocery workers. We need some people to be willing to carry on.
Does NO have enough infected now that it may benefit some from herd immunity? Last I saw, the number of confirmed positives in Orleans was about 1.5% of the total population. That must mean that 3 to 5% of the parish got infected at some point. Maybe more. Is this enough for some herd immunity, or do you need a lot higher percentages?

That is 12.5% and there are probably another 12.5% that are asymptomatic.
A good chance 20 to 25% of NOLA has had it including asymptomatics.
