You probably know that the full time gifted program is at Paul Breaux, and it's a really good program compared to regular public school.
But there is not enough segregation from the general population as they would have you believe.
For this reason, we didn't see much benefit of sending our kids there versus the already strong private school curriculum they were in.

Yes. LHS has a great gifted program. One of my kids teachers had children in both LHS and STM, and she said the LHS gifted program was on par, or perhaps better, than the STM honors courses. That says a lot.

This is the reason I have several guns in various places in my house and why I sleep with my 1911 under my pillow and my bedroom door locked. You can never be too prepared and when you think it cannot or will not happen to you is when it does.
