Have any of you used this DNA Service? What was your opinion of them? I'm mostly interested in this to check my ancestry. Did it take the whole 6-8 weeks for results to come back? Thank you to each one who replies back.

Sorry - thought this was about my wife's partner count from last weekend.

Yeah, it said I was related to Lebron James. Tried to hit him up for money but haven't heard back. So much for helping family members out.

nah, an ancestry account is enough for me. much rather know stories of ancestors than percentages. I already have a pretty good idea of what it would be anyway.

If you send them a sample from someone with Down Syndrome, do they catch it, or just report on all 102.2% of their ancestry?

I purchased this service for my wife who is interested in family ancestry, as a gift.
It is a pretty is a pretty cool service if you are into that kind of thing. They provide a report with percentages of nationality and explanations of the trace heritage. There is an extra charge if you want the medical results and they will keep emailing you to buy the results.
I will say it did take the full 6-8 weeks to get the results. All in all it was worth the money if you are uncertain or curious as to where your family heritage resides.

Yes 6-8 weeks. Interesting. 23&me is more about medical reports. You can answer a million questions to help their research.
