Aren't they trying to draw in a massive religious war between "us" and "them"? Striking a bunch of kids is one way to get a reaction when other attacks fail to get the reaction you want.
I predict a much higher level of response than previously simply because it was an attack basically on kids.

How am I being a pice of shite? This is a horrible tragedy and Muslim extremism is a scourge. I'm just wondering (laughing in an uncomfortable way) about what people think a "strong-handed" response might look like and what it would accomplish precisely. A nebulous enemy like ISIS isn't one where you can just flatten a city or cities and it's over. I guess I just don't understand what people want us to do in response
