as Central City is today.

There are blocks right now in central city where the entire block is being renovated at once.
Business will spread up Louisiana and MLK really isn't looking that bad these days.
OC haley is starting to look like Magazine did 15 years ago with places sprouting up selling kitch, with eateries and banks and offices coming in too.
Lasalle is seeing a lot of it's houses worked on.
There is a lot happening in Central City, I've been keeping my eye on it.

Shh don't let facts screw with Nawlins. The guy takes his name after the city and then shits on it every chance he gets.
Generally a troll poster who is easy to ignore.

I'm well aware of his MO. New Orleans doesn't have rockclimbing or snow boarding and thus is the worst city in the Western hemisphere.

I wish I knew thousands of people. Then I wouldn't feel so lonely on Facebook.

If it wasn't one of the unhealthiest, most violent, least educated, and most terribly run cities in the US I would probably dig it.

Man if every guy in this thread would take and mentor a young man, the impact could be significant. But everyone is all talk. I know I've put my money where my mouth is. Put up or shut up.

This is a perfect example that you aren't immune and insulated from the woes of society. So let's step the game up fellas.

RDR, I know you caught shite for your post and I think you maybe misguided with your rage, but as long as you realize life isn't fair and you are put here for a reason, shite will be ok.

No one is making you live in the 7th ward in squalor. When I am in NO, I immerse myself in the many positive aspects and areas of the city. I've gotten on big health kick and find New Orleans surprisingly suitable for that end. Obviously if you want a super-active outdoors lifestyle, Denver can't be beaten.

I'm going to make an honest attempt to stop trolling in NOLA threads. I have fun with it but at the same time I really do love to visit and always talk the city up to people here. Sorry for being a douche sometimes

I love hearing all these comments bout N.O.being such a "shite hole". Good. Stay away & let me & my family & my friends enjoy a less crowded Quarter like we've been doing for over 30 yrs now with no major incident whatsoever. I guess there are good reasons why the NFL keeps coming back for its premier game, the NBA All Star Game, the various NCAA men's & women's basketball tourney games, the crowds for New Years, Jazz Fest, the French Quarter Fest. For such a "shite hole" it sure does draw well from a lot of powerful national organizations.Year after year after year. Repeat: do stay away, far away, those who hate it so much.

They love it because of the great food, lots of hotels/bars/restaraunt within walking distance to the stadium and that you can basically do whatever you want. Where as in their hometowns you probably get a $150 ticket for having an open container. Its a great city to get shitfaced, throw up on the street somewhere, get carried back to your hotel room and start all over the next morning. As long as you dont walk too close to or look the wrong way at certain groups of people of course.

Many new orleanians will never accept that new orleans has a serious crime problem because they are just too arrogant and will get offended if anything is said in a negative way about the city.

I am fed up with the crime, don't get me wrong. But it's fairly easy to have a good life here if you just avoid the warzone areas. I live around Magazine and love it. I do plan on moving out west within the next few years though.

Just taking a few minutes to talk to someone can have profound effect on how they look at life the next day.

I've never met a New Orleanian that denied a crime problem in the city

I'm just laughing at how absurd his statement was. I guess including that added some kind of validation to his claim

People don't understand that. Man you don't even have to care but act like it for an hour and keep a few promises that you will be there the next day at the ball field or you will answer the phone if they need a man to talk to.

But let's insulate ourselves. Let's try and gather all the "trash" in one area so we can keep an eye on it. People are retarded
