When the school board fricked up the school system by reassigning what schools went to.. That made kids who lived two blocks from a school have to attend a school that was on the other side of the city a lot of people moved from BR to Livingston & Ascension.
judge parker did this not the school board

We know now it's more like "NYC had a Republican mayor when crime started declining rapidly, nationally"

So Giuliani had nothing to do with it? Your quote couldn't be revisionist history viewed through today's anti all things to the right lense could it?

I think Rudy sucks going all the way back to the 80s and his illegal tactics going after the mafia.

He used the RICO statute as intended. How was it illegal?

It wasn't on campus but BR/NO definitely fit your "shite hole" reference.

Look, I don't disagree but you're posting this in a thread about an LSU student murdered in BR.

The obvious answer is that both cities are garbage.

Nope. Another guy who uses words he doesn’t know. They are almost exactly the same. They are not “exactly” the same. And they damn sure are not “literally exactly” the same.

Crime wise, they are literally exactly the same.

He had no idea even how to use rico to get the mafia. He wasnt the brains behind it at all. He sure as hell put his face in front of the camera every chance he got though. He used all that for political reasons

The fbi and attorneys office used all kinds of illegal tactics to take down the mafia. Without them breaking the law, the mafia commission trial never happens amongst all kinds of other takedowns

Don’t really care. You have to be ruthless to take out ruthless crime organizations.

BRPD supposedly have some camera footage from Cajun Electric (company across the street from scene of the crime). Not sure any other details than that.

Someone asked earlier in the thread about if she was robbed or not. Yes she was robbed. Not sure if it was while she was waiting on the train or if it was as she was trying to turn around and leave.

Ackshually, crime decreased nationally as a spillover effect. The success in NYC resulted in a positive externality for the rest of the country.

In other words, people saw it was working and copied it elsewhere. The bad guys got scared and most of them quit being as bad.

The bad guys have no fear now. Nothing worse than free room and board is going to happen to them if they get caught, especially if they’re under 18.

The biggest change since Rudy’s day, though, is that criminals have no hope, no aspirations beyond anything that will give them pleasure in the next five seconds, and don’t care if they die. This is the most concerning part, imo (other than the lives they end or ruin, that is).

If the people in the area I mentioned above starts moving out and not being replaced by young professionals Baton Rouge is fricked.

Then BR is fricked

The conversations and things that need to happen will hurt too many feelings. You & I both know it.

If you think otherwise, you're in denial.

Maybe not her ex but probably someone she knew.
6 shots fired . Usually that’s out of anger.
