It can be hard to be happy in 2023 when faced with economic difficulties like high inflation, which is a source of stress for over 83% of adults. Therefore, it’s vital for people to boost their happiness however they can, whether through family, friends, activities, entertainment or work. What people might not realize is that where they live may also determine how happy they are.

Location plays a hand in how bright or gloomy our days are. For years, researchers have studied the science of happiness and found that its key ingredients include a positive mental state, healthy body, strong social connections, job satisfaction and financial well-being. However, money can only make you so happy – people who make $75,000 a year won’t get any higher satisfaction from more money. Consider also the fact that while the U.S. is one of the richest countries, it ranks only 16th on the World Happiness Report.

Surprised NOLA isn’t #1. I’d be so happy if someone just removed me from this gay earth right now.

Only if you're not a lily white progressive. Much like why all those particular cities made the list.

Only when Chicago, Baltimore or New Orleans is shooting each other or burning. When it’s a white, successful liberal cities, the OT will say “it’s a lie” or “the list is BS”.

Because laws have been crafted to keep out anyone except the brown hired help. This can be done by various methods. California is a big fan of the NIMBY method. You shoot down any ability for high density housing to exist in your city, forcing your brown hired help to commute for multiple hours a day. You still get the cheap brown labor, you can virtue signal your progressive bonafides to your friends, and the icky brown labor are unable to afford to live anywhere near you.

We call this the Nancy Pelosi Doctrine.

When your list is made by lily white progressives, I don't expect any conservative cities....lily white or otherwise....to make the list.

But of course you know this already.

List is bullshite. Without bias, it's clear to me San Diego should be above all those cities.
