I went because a relative is involved, and I’ve been one other time years ago. It’s not the “movers and shakers” or the Bocage or BRCC crowd. The event raises a fair amount of money, but this is definitely a C-list, CCLA crowd of wanna-be try hards.

Buddy of mine worked this thing last night as a volunteer bartender. All of the booze was donated by local restaurants, bars, etc. A couple of hours in and they ran out of tequila. Some drunk as shite housewife in a prom dress started screaming at him and told him she was "reporting him to the Rivercenter" for running out.
