I was googling "Celebrity Deaths" and this thread was one of the first things that popped up on Google, so I thought I might check and see how everyone did...

Not a lot of success among the pickers, as it turns out. Nobody got more than 1 correct so far. Some of the accurate guesses were Glen Campbell, Mary Tyler Moore, Judge Wapner and Jerry Lewis. Someone picked Don Pardo, who actually died in 2014...and Abe Vigoda, who expired in 2016.

Some low-hanging fruit that could have been guessed but weren't were Don Rickles, Roger Moore, and Ara Parseghian.

My favorite "off the wall" guesses were "the old man from Pawn Stars", Bill Dance, and "Larry from 3's Company". All have survived.

And this post speaks for itself:

Well, a lot of people are tied at 1. If Bob Barker becomes the next item up for embalming by the end of the year, that will be a game-changer because a lot of people picked him. If you believe the National Enquirer, he doesn't have much time left.

Edit: And Betty White too...lots of people picked her, but she appears to be in good health.

I'm wondering if a Las Vegas betting house will let me place a parlay bet that these three people will all be alive on 1 January 2018?
