Now that duck season is officially over, it's time to shake the dust off my clubs and start back the grind.

New upgrades for this season:
New Shaft for Driver (looking at Grafalloy Blue Stiff to match with my Rocketballz Stage 2)
Possible New Irons (can squeeze another year out of current set)
Trying out different balls (currently play Callaway Supersofts exclusively)

What's everybody else's upgrades gonna be this year?

I'm going to tryout the Snell MTB golfball this year. My bag was totally revamped last year, so I'm pretty set for the most part.

It's time for a new driver man. Don't worry about spending extra money on a shaft to put in a driver that has been passed up. Most places I know of you can put certain shafts in the new drivers free of charge. If i'm not mistaken the Grafalloy falls into that category.

So I would advise to upgrade drivers with the shaft of your choice.

My upgrade this year will be a 3 wood. Just can't decide if I want the M2 or the Titleist 915F..

Yeah, he might as well totally upgrade. The M2 driver isn't for sale yet, but it's a great cheaper option to the M1 (I assume it will be at least). Testing for it has been great. I'd also look at Ping G or Callaway XR16. They'll all come with a great compliment of shafts to chose without extra charge.

If those are too much, there are still some great choices to choose from.

Im seriously considering upgrading my driver and getting a better shaft, but not sure I'll pull the trigger.

May be the first year I don't add anything to the bag. Need to go out and get a a few dozen ProV1x to last me for a while, restock on gloves, and make sure the battery in the lazer are working.

That's about it.. Ready for it to get warm and green.

Ehh it might be but I've swung it before and really liked it.

As far as my Rocketballz Stage 2, I really like it and can hit it pretty consistently. So in my mind a new driver is not needed.

As far as my irons go, I'm embarrassed to say but I play with an old set of Cleveland TA7's. Cringeworthy, I know. But I hit them pure and can moderately shape them how I want. I feel that's where the main upgrade is needed.

Switching clubs is a new thing. Great article out there on how Jack Nicklaus rarely changed his clubs and wanted the same feeling persimmon driver, even though he broke a few from swinging so hard.

I remember my dad bragging about his persimmon driver, very proud he was.

The driver is the most important club in the bag.

The irons are important too. Tough playing without irons, IMO.
