I beat up myself in 16.3 trying to get bar MUs. I'm sure Castro will create another workout that will suck dick tonight.
I expect next week to be some long-arse chipper since Froning, Fraser, Smith are going HTH. It makes me believe 16.4 will be a 10-12 min cap workout.

They haven't had a repeat yet. I wonder if it will be the rowing and thruster workout from last year. That combo sucked.

I'd be happy not to redo that one. It seems like they've had at least one repeat for the last couple of years.

What a dick. Starting out with 55 deadlifts at 225 is going to totally suck. Back is going to be lit up like a Christmas tree.

Oh, maybe it was the camera angle, but it looked like one of those chicks should've been no repped on about half her deads.....sure seems judging is not as consistent as it needs to be.

Deadlifts and HSPUs. The killer will be going right into wall balls after 55 deadlifts at 225.
I don't know how big my sets will be on DLs.. 15s? 10s? I'll probably start with a set of 15 and see how it feels. It would be great to go 15, 15, 13, 12.. I'll also alternate my overlapping grips each reset.
Wall balls will suck. I'll probably bounce the hell off of my calfs to help as much as possible. Another 15, 15, 13, 12 would be optimal.
On the rower, I'm going to shoot for a a cal per pull so the damper will be set at 7. It would be great to finish this in the 3:30-4 min range.
So, my hope is 9:00-10 min to get to HSPUs, but it'll probably be closer to 12.

There will be no way to get a stroke a pull and recover. Even then you are planning in like 14 s/m. You will lose wheel inertia at that damper and work yourself to death. Unless you are a 6:00 rower or so, if that is the case, go get em

We just hit 27-21-15-9 Cal Row/HSPU on Tuesday.
I'll probably start out a pull per cal and it'll morph into 2 cals in 3 pulls, and then 2 cals in 4 pulls.

Oh I wouldn't stoop that low. Go two for three and settle in at 900 or so cal per hour. You will recover nicely and you will be finished up in 3:30. If recovered you can prob make up ground in last minute
