Cpt, it seems to me that segments of the populace have become more defiant and disrespectful of cops...disobeying direct orders, resisting arrest, generally asking for a fight.
Sure, there are Exanple of cops doing bad things, but that is far outweighed by the things i describe above.
I can never imagine myself or my kids treating cops with anything but respect.
We have a growing populace that lacks morals and lacks respect for authority.
Just fixing bad cops won't fix the situation. The problem is far greater on the side of the "populace"

Sounds good. So are we also going to start holding parents accountable for their teenagers carrying weapons and attacking cops/teachers/other members of "authority" who are apparently just supposed to put up with it? Maybe put some effort into really assessing the mental health of these offenders instead of just cutting those services because they're typically tied into welfare reform? Or better yet, stop encouraging these communities to riot and destroy their own communities in the process?
I see lots of suggestions for things to be fixed on the cop side of things but not a damn thing to fix the problem within communities that are fostering the violence, not just against cops but against each other, to begin with.

Because it's racist to even suggest there's a problem. It's all white people's and cops' fault.
