well that was not my intention. I regret the post but sadly i cant delete it now. BELIEVE ME, this is NOT how i truly feel about it. I support anyone who is trying to better themselves like I am but unfortunately there will be times of failure. Yes, there are people who will get it right the first time, but not many. I am in a recovery program and I can promise you we all take it seriously. I can also promise you that TD is just a harsh place sometimes. Didn't mean to contribute to that, but my mind is a bit in shock today, so i apologize for dropping this shite on the board.

yes 100% my own choice. Lots of people in my program are only there because it was court ordered, but i actually just wanted to do it.

Not really something to celebrate, is it? And you didn't do it for the Tigers. You did it for what controls you.

Dude, get to a meeting and think about priorities.

If you have a problem, it’s far more important than a football game. Good I’ve and Geaux Tigers!!

I've got 7 and a half years going right now. If I had 7 months, I would probably drink or snort some pain meds. But, I'm not giving up 7 years. 2 months isn't shite and quite honestly you may have broken your sobriety anyways in another month or 2. Now that you know you can do it for 2 months, push for 6 months next time. Once you get there you can play out some longer term goals. Good luck, brother!

29 years sober. Win or lose I will not be hungover tomorrow.

I don’t oppose anyone drinking. Glad others enjoy themselves. I just know I don’t need to drink to celebrate 15-0 National Championship!!!!!!!

Woke up too many times in jail in my early 20s. 30 years sober and no jail. Hated the hangovers and the pain I caused my family. Plow the field ahead.

No worries. You’re right, most relapse a few times on their way to sobriety. Just don’t give up! On day at a time.

St. Joe wouldn't want you to destroy your family over a game

Anyone who would brag about relapsing isn’t ready to get clean. When addicts relapse, they hide it. You just blasted it because you don’t care. And this isn’t a “failure.” Failure implies you actually tried.
