The betting lines differ from casino to casino in Vegas. Even if the Mississippi casinos are affiliated with a vegas casino the line will move according to money bet locally. Why would the Mississippi casino keep a line -5.5 if the local money bet justifies moving to -6.5?

I CANNOT WAIT to take I-12 to Biloxi instead of I-10 to New Orleans as my degenerate friends and I go to gamble all weekend and then have our fantasy draft, then finish off Labor Day weekend with LSU vs. Miami.
