Baton Rouge drivers and streets should conform to cyclists. The expenses they pay in sales taxes on bikes, fuel taxes, licenses, insurance and registration are the same as you pay for your cars.

I can buy that. Riding a bike is fun and refreshing, but it is only feasible if you have no other responsibilities. You can’t pick up groceries for a family, you can’t drop kids off. It is the ultimate single person mode of transportation.

According to the OP, you should be able to ride 2+ miles in full dress attire over asphalt in the middle of south LA summer and not sweat or else you’re a lard arse

My neighbor growing up rode from South bossier to downtown Shreveport every morning and back in the evening. Wore workout clothes though and showered at the office or maybe the downtown YMCA, I can't remember.

He's also done the Ironman several times and still does them, so he's probably not normal.

to be fair, LA is a good place to bike commute

the weather is perfect 9 months out of the year for it
And it’s flat. No significant hills to climb. Always an easy ride.

Sure it was clear, if his point was that he's so poor that he has to bicycle his way to and from work everyday and live outside of town.
My post office is in the state Capitol.

You're trying to insinuate that Silverado driving dudes must live outside of town in a cheaper location to afford the truck payment....yet you're clearly riding on the same route. Reads as though you're jealous of the OT ballers that can afford to live where you live(supposedly in a high cost area), and also afford a Silverado.

According to the OT we can all compete the iron man coming off of a 72 hour coke bender after fricking multiple Victoria secret models so I’d say your buddy is normal.

the only cyclists that also don't own a vehicle are the ones that live in very urban areas, not BR

the only cyclists that don't own cars in BR aren't paying taxes anyways

Your hatchback Prius is not an SUV.

Let’s cut the shite. Reign or Bang energy drinks. They gave EAA Amino Acids and COQ10 plus enough caffeine to revive an elephant. I drink 2 a day

Sadly that last part is closer to truth than sarcasm
