In general, I don’t think anyone likes to see plates from a few specific states, like Illinois, California, New York, or Michigan.

My ex boss had some choice words about all the Michigan plates she used to see when the plants started shutting down in the 80s. I believe she called them a plague of blue locusts.

California needs what ever bad happens to them for their ridiculous regulations and other anti-business practices.

Plague is an apt description. When they come and change a place, a place you call home. That’s a problem.

I’m laughing, but seriously, our backward ways helped to preserve the south and keep them out.

So maybe don’t change.

And some people keep telling me that the politics and taxes in california are no big deal after going like muh mountains, muh weather, muh beaches and I'm like sure that's nice but it doesn't help pay the bills and save up for retirement.

Morons is what they all are.

Pretty sure Louisiana is a top 5 worst state to do business.

Yep.

Our governor whores out lawsuits against the private sector, especially oil and gas to his trial lawyer friends to make a cool mint.

Legal climate here is just as bad, if not worse, for business as California.

There are lawyers and sympathizers here that continue to deny this.

Keep calling me a LABI plant and so on.

I can only imagine the ridiculous liberal bullshite that businesses have to endure in fricked up California.

Bay Area becomes 4 million jobs economy as hiring boom widens

Sorry to burst the OPs bubble. The economy is on fire here.

There are almost as many people working in this one area of California as there are the total number of residents of Louisiana.

The ultimate irony. Someone from Louisiana, Americans corrupt a-hole, the shithole of shithole's, having the gall to denigrate any other state, much less one with California's bounty.

Hey moron, they make a lot more here than they do in that dump you're from. I myself am adding 4 or 5 years to my pension with every six months I work out here. This place has a level of affluence you mouthbreathers just can't fathom.

I had a coworker who moved here to Wyoming, ten years back.

That first big snow storm, she got into trouble, and slid off the road. Nothing major, but she was stuck.

A local came along a few minutes later, spotted her in the ditch, and pulled over ... that’s about when he noticed the California plates.

He turned right back on the road, and drove away.

Rudest thing I’ve heard all day
