KCBD photographer Caleb Holder was filming a two-car crash on Highway 84 in Lubbock County, Texas, when an 18-wheel truck lost control and slammed into the scene.

Holder's video shows a number of people at the scene diving out of the way as the semi truck appears traveling at high speed out of heavy fog.

The truck hits two vehicles before jackknifing and landing on a pickup before sliding and finally coming to a halt.

A Texas state trooper in a fluorescent jacket can be seen tripping as he moves to evade the truck — he and another driver pinned inside the pickup were taken to hospital for treatment and are expected to survive, KCBD said.

"We could hear more tires screeching, and then just barely see headlights coming in through the fog," Holder reported on KCBD, adding: "I've never seen anything like that in person."

Watch the dramatic footage below.

If I’m ever on the shoulder you better believe I am standing in the woods a football field away from the road

Seen too many videos like this

Baw in the neon barely escapes I think the rig probably kissed his boots on the way by

Been there, done that

What really sucks though is when you catch a blowout on the basin bridge

18 wheelers need their own seperate roads. Too much bullshite with a driver who is pushing his limits, driving what may as well be a small train with other vehicles that have no protection against them.

They've always been a hazard, my grandfather's car was totalled by one and the driver nor his company even had insurance

You’d be crying like a baby when packages arrived late, stores ran out of food, supplies to your work didn’t arrive, gas stations didn’t have any fuel, etc because all those 18 wheelers are stuck on byways instead of the interstates that were partially built “because we need them for the economy” to use DDE’s words.

As foggy as it was, that truck was flying. I am serious. There needs to be a lane separate from the other lanes that is just for 18 wheelers. Just in general, they cause a lot of accidents.

No I wouldnt. I'm self sufficient, rich and have everything I need. Except clear roads.

We have trains and air. Mail vehicles, ups trucks.. fedex..That's enough to get shite from one place to another.

If shite needs to be brought to target or walmart they can have their own road.

So you want to tie up a whole lane of traffic just for 18 wheelers?

They already don't obey the "no trucks in left lane" signage already
