objectively, it looks like they were drunk, making out in a crowd and it started going a further when people started taking pictures and video.. the girl realized it and then all of a sudden it wasn't consentual anymore.

still one of the more disturbing things about this kind of story
people will film anything
could they have gotten in trouble for underage porn if she was semi-nude?

I have no idea. I guess she and the guy could be charged with some kind of voyeurism who knows... the whole situation is pretty stupid.
but it's not like this doesn't happen every year with mardi gras.. drunk woman doing something stupid, people taking pictures, and then she gets embarrassed and calls the cops

I'm more blown away that no one tried to stop the alleged rape.

after how long of them doing whatever it was that they were doing out in the wide open?
seems a bit far fetched that he was all of a sudden raping this girl out in the open of an ongoing concert with all those people around.

It sounds like it was a bunch of people who were like, oh look, those people are having sex over there, how crazy and then some mom ruined the party and decided to investigate.

i've seen people fricking in public.. concerts, parades and such.. never thought to ask them if it was consentual...
seems like something made the woman question it.

the video will be evidence to clear the guy if his story is honest.

As soon as I saw this article, I knew I'd find the OT debating whether or not it was rape.

Well he was drunk and therefore couldn't consent to her either? Why is it the man's responsibility?

I like how they use "Man" & "Girl" when they are only 1 year apart.

i think he means that after she realized she was being videotaped, she claims that everything else that happened prior to that point wasn't done with her consent. i don't think he is implying that the girl stopped giving consent and THEN he kept going (if this is true, the videos will all clearly show this)

I get that, but it seems like she told an onlooker it wasn't consensual, and not the actual person that was... "involved"
