I have been here since February of 2006 and have less than 1700 posts. I don’t know whether to be proud or ashamed of that. Lol.

I joined right after Blondie cheated on SlowFlow or something like that. I used to have more time to horse around during the day.
Please let me know if I’m missed any epic threads in the last 5 years?
I think the only thing of substance was the solving of the murder.
I don’t know what started stuff with the crazy redhead girl. Gravy stories bring out the best of some people. There’s not much craziness anymore.

I’ve noticed the same. Any idea as to why?

But I know I posted during the LSU/UGA SECCG in 2003 so who knows what happened to that account.
Same.
I was here shortly after that game and experienced the first "megathread" late the night we were rooting for Hawaii to win so we would jump USC to second place in the BCS
My first F5 key lost its life that night and the next 16 years of my life was set in stone.

Other memorable moments was when sfp hit 99,999 posts and I kept starting threads on the OT to get him to post again then he finally posted that TD manifesto at 100k.

15 and 3 months here. And man my life was so different and strange then. I usually stayed on td.com until 3 am with Hennesy (wouldn't dare drink now), lortab 10, and a bowl full of dirty pot.
15 years later, different city and a wife and kids. I've spent 1/4 of my life on td.

15 years ago, I would argue with Badcat. And Lester Earl and Twain was the first lil feud I recall.

This nostalgia thread reminds me of my short time putzing around on a now-defunct site called TigerU. During the post-Saban coaching search, I saw a new member pop up on their sports board posting day and night how stupid LSU would be if they hired anyone other than Mike Leach. A few of us engaged with him, mostly in troll form, and he started to get legitimately upset. Turns out one of the members of the site did some investigating and found out that it was Leach’s brother Tim.
He then threatened to sue everyone on the site for attempting to destroy his family’s reputation, but we were all like, dude, nobody on earth cares who you are.
:csb:
Cringeworthy article that made me laugh

quote:
"It's a little-known fact," said Tim, laughing. "Who do you think trained him to be a coach? It was me." When Mike was a teen and Tim just 8, his older brother drew plays in the sand and had Tim run pass routes over and over again. Mike demanded exactness and perfection and Tim ran the slants, the outs, the post-flags. "I'm the one that had to do all of that — with my own sweat and blood, mind you," said Tim.
