Its baffling how some of you get through life on a daily basis
How often does your steering wheel detach?

What the hell are you supposed to do when the steering wheel detaches?

Excellent use of the Vice grip.
That looks like a Ford dash.

Hitting the brakes seems like a good starting move.
Also, this is a good reason to keep your vehicles alignment maintained. If you have a pull, you're fricked in this situation.

So even if I don't own a Ford and can't be poisioned by the Explorer's carbon monoxide leaks, they will still kill me when a Lincoln/Fusion loses a steering wheel and runs into me.
That's commitment. I respect that.

A Ford on a busy clover leaf interchange would be like Final Destination.

This will be the thread where Toyota lovers pretend that Toyotas didn't have a recall for stuck gas pedals that killed people.
Except it was proven to be aftermarket floor mats

Toyota paid a $1.2 billion settlement to end the probe. I'm sure it was nothing.
I'm convinced they were trying to avoid ECM replacement.

Even after issuing recalls to address problematic floor mats that in some cases pinned down accelerators, the company hid a flawed gas pedal design that it knew did the same thing, according to documents accompanying the agreement.

Yeah I’m sure it wasn’t partisan politics at all, seeing as GM got a smaller fine for killing more people and lying to the DOJ about it

How does a floor mat cause a Toyota to accelerate but the floor mats in every other car don't?
Do the blame the driver's shoes in cars without floor mats?

Just take the L bro. Toyota isn't perfect.
But thanks for proving my first post in this thread.

How does it only happen right when GM is being bailed out?

My last Ford lost some parts, but never the steering wheel.
Clearly I was lucky.
