According to the staffer at the Colorado charter school, the patch was "disruptive to the classroom environment," as she claimed it has "origins with slavery."

From what I have read this is the Henderson School in Canon City Colorado.

It’s supposedly the Vanguard School in Colorado Springs. It’s in the Cheyenne Mountain area.

When the mother called it the Gadsden flag, the staffer goes, "the Don't Tread On Me flag". Guarantee she had no idea what it was called or what it stood for.
Then she cowers behind, "I'm just enforcing the school board's policy". Classic authoritarian regime "I was just doing my job" excuse.
