DId everyone forget 11 people died today because they were simply practicing their faith? (others wounded including police officers).

The shooter was a member of some site called Gab, which is some anti-semitic site/online community.

Who gives a frick about this political party or that political party? It's sad when this becomes the conversation a thread like this.

As Americans this should be troubling because we have the right to practice whatever religion we want and for someone to attack people for doing what they have a right to do, all because he was against their religion is disturbing.

Most white supremacy groups don't like Catholics either. One day you can be in mass and some headcase decides he is going to go attack the church you happen to be in.

I don't directly blame the president because people are responsible for their actions (I know mentally ill people rationalize doing extreme actions, but they still made the decision to do it. With that said, maybe it's not that simple, IDK), but him going to his rallies and telling his crowds whatever he knows will get them fired up is dangerous.

He is supposed to be the leader of this country, instead, he is toxic. He sells fear and there is nothing more effective than making people think they will only be safe if they support you, because you will make sure it will not happen.. To some degree people will see the other side as a threat to them.

Like when Obama ran for his first time. I remember the day after he was elected, I go into work and I hear this woman on the phone talking about how she can't believe it happened. Her husband told her that morning to get ready because in 3 or 4 years everyone will have to turn over their land to the government and people will only be allowed to make so much money. She thought it was the end of the world as we knew it.

Both parties do it, but again.. frick all the political bullshite. There are people today who lost family members all because their family members were practicing their faith. It doesn't matter what party you belong to, what happened today and happen to anyone... At any time.
