Seriously, I love what Corso has done for college football (just with gameday, when they started doing the show from a different location every week, in the mid 90s, that allowed you to see the atmosphere around that campus, etc.. Then whether you thought it was/is stupid or not, everyone still waits to see what mascot head he will put on), but after his stroke it looks like it is hard on him to be up there.
Herbstreit has to help him. If he gets stuck on what he is talking about, Herbstreit does a good job of taking over and keeping the conversation going.
I actually shook his hand before. It was the Florida game in 1997. I was on my way to the stadium and I saw Corso under the ramp of the pmac, talking with someone. I went over to him and told him I was a fan and just had to come shake his hand. He thanked me and told me to enjoy the game.
Who will they replace him with? My money is on Finebaum.
