Had a 2001 Eclipse at 185k that ran like a champ with hardly any issues, only problems I had was a transmission blow at 155k because I was forced to give 4 people a ride one night and the weight of the people in the car blew the transmission

Radiator failed at 130k

Drive an Audi TT now, love the car but it is more expensive to maintain for sure

My 2007 Ram has 90,000 on it right now and I swear on everything it still has the factory brake pads on it. I replaced the EGR valve a year or so ago and that is the only repair.

My 03 tundra with 160k miles has had 0 problems until a few weeks ago... My passenger side electric window wont roll down

Had this issue with my '06 f-150 with my driver window. The power window motor burnt up and I replaced it myself for $120 this past weekend, pretty easy to do as well.

2007 Chevy Silverado. 130K miles. I change the oil every 7000 to 8000 miles. All I've had to do is 3 sets of tires, two new batteries, and new brake discs...so just normal maintenance.

I'm not a dodge fan but the newer one's do seem to be built a lot better

I remember riding in the late 90's early 2000's ram's that had 10,000 miles and felt like they were falling apart

2007 Silverado 5.3L

150,000 on nothing but oil changes, tires, and front brake pads. The one I had before that one was traded in with 260,000 miles. Also a Chevy, but on that one, I had to replace a gauge cluster and I think maybe a wiper motor.

We have had Honda Accords make it to 130,000 miles without trouble as well.

It's not unusual to see that on some full sized GM trucks, Hondas, Toyota's, and some Nissan trucks. 20 years ago, it was much more rare.

'98 Toyota Landcruiser with 258k on it.

The only parts that ever failed were the starter in yr 7 of ownership and the transmission and alternator in yr 13 of ownership.

Other than that, it has been routine maintenance.

We you keep a vehicle this long, you wind up doing more involved routine maintenance like new radiator and hoses, timing belt, water pump, cam seals, wheel bearings.

Anything with rubber boots will deteriorate over time, such as you have covering your CV axles and upper and lower ball joints.

Always runs like new. Can't kill it.

I know a guy who travels from Lafayette to Atlanta and back every week, pulling a trailer.

He puts 750k or more on his diesel trucks before getting rid of them.

Mrs G has complained several times that it's not comfortable back there, even for just 15 minutes, so we'll have to find something else for you.
