I don’t think 1 in 6 of any aggregate age grouping has $100k stashed away.

Well, there goes the myth that times are soooo tough for millennials

How much equity does the average boomer have in their home?

They likely bought a house that overextended their budget and forced them to work until 75 years old. Happy?

Something tells me "in the bank" really means banks, retirement plans, etc.

No friggin way. Maybe 100k of assets (not including student debt)

Less than half have a significant pension... that's for sure.
Spin it how you want... 17k is pathetic. Anything less than 250k is pathetic.

Typical OT shite right here. It’s no different than the goofballs here that talk about buying cars and houses with cash; make $200k a quarter and think Emma Watson is a solid 7.

Lmao is their home yielding anything for them to live off of?

37 years old is a millennial?
I watched a History Channel documentary on GenX over the past few days and they classified that generation as 1961-1981. 37 sounds like it would be right on the border of the 2 generations.

I didn’t know Starbucks had a 401k program.

It could yield them not having to pay a mortgage anymore, which is pretty important

How is it spin? If they bought a house for $200k in 1985 and that house is now worth $700k then they have an exit. Just taking into account money in the bank when they likely have other significant assets is stupid.

That’s a huge range. All those over 30 shouldn’t necessarily categorized as millennials IMO, and those over 35 definitely aren’t. 32 is about the breaking point I’ve found, personally.
Also, if you’re over 35 and don’t have 100k save you’re a complete rahtard.
