Unless you are living under a rock you know that some in government are saying that if guns weren't so readily available the Orlando night club incident wouldn't have happened.

My question to the OT is simply how do you personally assign blame?

This thread is ducking dumb, of course the rifle talked him into it.

Leaving ducking. Deal with it.

Guns don't do much unless someone is there to pull the trigger. I've owned a gun since I was 13 and have yet to kill another human being.

In a vacuum, of course no gun = no shootings but that's not how things are in the US and I support the 2nd amendment. The fact that this guy was investigated by the FBI and yet no alerts went up when he bought all of his weaponry doesn't sit well with me.

If there are any problems with the weapon used, this should be the one people are harping on, ease of access for someone under investigation

He HAD been under investigation in the past, but wasn't any longer. As far as people who are red flagged that list is reportedly around one million. It's likely that I am on a government watch list.

And they're idiots for believing such horseshite. If he could not get his hands on a gun, he'd have just built a bomb. His kind are going to carry out their terror one way or another and the lack of a gun isn't going to stand in their way.

But they want us to believe they're going to be able to screen out any potential terrorists from the flood of middle eastern "refugees" they're flooding into our country.

I saw an interesting post earlier. Bruce Jenner says he's a woman. New York Times says okay. He's a woman. Muslim says he is going to kill a bunch of people for ISIS. New York Times asks "What is the real story?"

I hate this argument. We shouldn't want to make it easy for someone to carry out these attacks.

What happened to this country over the past 30 yrs? Seems like we hold less and less people accountable. It's very sad.

Make it easy? This guy was investigated 3 times by the FBI. They dropped the ball again. The same FBI that is investigating Hillary. I have 0 confidence in their ability to handle her investigation either. The president has changed the rules to the game. Now you want him to be able to disarm us, at the same time he is invading our country with illegals on every boarder? Gotcha!
