actually tore his groin during warmups of game, didn't tell staff until halftime of game.

Curious how that loss would have painted the rest of the year. Starting off 0-2, losing to the Browns at home, who knows if we would have had the fight to come back like that against Atlanta.

I saw he got $35k from the Browns for a settlement. If he hid the info from them, why do they owe him?

Is he a doctor? He may have thought he just pulled something and didn't find out until later he tore it. Players don't tell the trainers every little thing that hurts during (or in this case right before) the games. They want to play.

And there's the fact that they still played him after he told them.

Think of it like an injury settlement.

Rarely we see guys get hurt and cut without a settlement. Usually it's IR'd no?

That is pretty much nothing to an NFL team. Seems more likely this is mostly an attempt by him to save face and generate interest, and the browns basically just paid him to go away
