Anyone else believe that ZS has actually become a decent announcer for the saints?
Henderson had some big shoes to fill and I struggled through some early disappointment with Strief, but I think he has potential to get better and better and I really love his enthusiasm as a HOMER announcer!

He paints a much clearer picture of what's actually going on in the game than he did early on, as was expected. He has good chemistry with deuce too

I listened to him driving to work at the end of the 1st half. He needs to update the game clock more often. There were times he would let several plays run before updating the time.

I’m sorry. He’s awful compared to other play by play guys in the league. Hire Sean Kelly to do the job. Put Zach at color or countdown to kickoff.

You guys are critiquing him as if he has 5 years under his belt.
I honestly believe he will improve and do a good job.
PLUS...just like Hebert, he can speak from first hand experience on the field with THIS team.

Just blows my mind that there wasn't a better choice in the country than what the Saints settled for. He sucks and I only listen to post-game WWL. So pissed that I have to listen to Romo or Collinsworth's sad fricking arse or Aikman on & on... Was just spoiled with Henderson for so many years.

I absolutely love Strief and Duece as our radio guys. They're great.

He should have never been considered for the job. I don’t need a homer at the mic , just someone who can accurately describe a play with some excitement. Color guys are supposed to be homers.

While I obviously don't agree with everything you said, I was shocked that they chose him over other candidates (not that I knew who they were) when they selected him.
I still stand by my assessment (after the fact, of course)
