Not comparing him to Brees or anything, but that first season with Drew started with three very shaky wins before they started rolling on offense. I like what I’ve seen at times. I’m just not sold on Pete Carmichael. He’s just not that guy and it could hurt us later.

I do. Hasn’t been perfect, admits it and cares about improving. He knows he has to be better.

Even though the wins haven’t been pretty, it’s still 2-0 and room to grow. I think we’d all take 2-0 right now.

Carr is not Brees..

Carr checks first read and then it takes him time to check to see who else was open, which means sacks.. Drew was so cerebral that he knew where every receiver was on the field and could process changes to the play like few can

On the other hand, Carr can sling it 60 yards with ease and HOPEFULLY Pete and Dennis have realized that either Olave or Shaheed can take the top off the defense

He always looks like he is late on what he wants to do next. You can the frustration on Carr’s face in certain situations.

I like him but he’s got to settle down. He has a defense that will keep them in most games, he doesn’t have to press. I know o-line issues are part of it but I really think the line will jell as the season goes on.

Hes had two really bad brain fart interception throws in each of the last 2 games. Needs to just get rid of that and he’ll be ok. Against better teans those interceptions will kill us.

Patriots let go of Tom Brady, Chargers let go of Drew Brees, Joe Burrow had to leave Ohio State. No one has patience anymore.

I get your point in regards to the other poster but these aren’t great examples. Brady wanted to leave Pats, Drew basically tore his rotator cuff to the point even miami didn’t want him and Burrow chose to leave ohio state and not ohio state forced him to leave. Carr was benched for bad play and cut. That being said I think Carr will be better and help us win.

I get your point Burrow is probably the best example but it’s college. I think he will get better. Defense is always ahead of the offense early in the season.
