If he sucks so bad then no other team should want him, right?

Coaches love to try and be the only right person in the room. Someone out there is going to say “oh I can fix that” and take a flyer on him. He’s a rookie. I’m not saying he’s the worst QB out there but right now we are in better shape with Winston as the backup.

Winston played with the same shitty backups

I said it earlier. They will be the first to defend Haener because he played “with the backups” and also the first to dog Winston because he wasn’t all pro “with the backups”

If Carr was to go out in game I would feel better if Hill went in.
JMO. Hill #2 and rookie #3 but there is JWs contract.

He’s playing against a bunch of guys that won’t even make the team on the opposing defense

And he's playing with a bunch of guys blocking for him and running routes that won't even make the team

Jameis is a fricking lost cause. He needs to be cut and save us a roster spot

Hard disagree. I hope Jameis retires a Saint. He's a great teammate, everybody within the organization likes him and he has no ego about being a backup. That moment where Jameis was hugging Graham after the TD is a perfect example. Players eat that shite up and feed off that type of energy. As a coach, that would weigh heavily into my decision.

I like Haener but he does not give the Saints a better chance to win a game or two. If Carr were to go down for an extended period, the season is over with either of them imo. If I need one or two games, give me Jameis. You can tell Haener is smart and can command an offense but he's just limited by his physical ability and needs some time to allow the game to slow down for him.

They think they know more than the coaches and what goes into making these decisions.

What don`t people understand about the NFL and rookies.
Hell Peyton Manning sucked his first year.JH has shone alot
of potential but he is a ROOKIE.You cant judge a player
by his 1st camp or season in most cases, thats a fact.
