I’ve been watching the saints since the 87/88 seasons.
In every season that required us to have help to make the playoffs, we’ve never married a win with help to make it. Basically, we didn’t do enough to make it. That scenario is on us today.

No way the following is going to happen:
We win and
Tampa loses to Carolina

We win and
Green Bay loses to Chicago in the frozen tundra AND Seattle loses to the cards in Phoenix.

Not happening, shite, we might lose to atlanta today. Heads should roll, even if it’s not DA. PC has to go.

Bit if we win we’ll have a winning record and Dennis Allen will have had a successful season and gets to keep coaching.

But in all seriousness, it’s all fake anyway.

He’s going to get an extension to 2030 if we go 9-8.

Riveting analysis. Cards beat the Eagles so SEA loss is very much in play. Bears would love to ruin GB’s trip

Check the Panthers’ scores. TB? 21-18; ATL? 9-7; GB? 33-30. They sucked last week but there is a shot. All the cuck brigade can do is yell at the sky though. Have fun being miserable

In 1990, going into the final week of the season, the Saints needed the Falcons to beat the Cowboys and the Saints needed to beat the Rams in order to make the playoffs. They both happened and the Saints made the playoffs. But as someone who’s been watching since 87/88, you certainly knew that.

This IS the playoffs.

But seriously...even if they make an official playoff spot, the Saints will of course be one and done, fire DA, hire a newly unemployed Bill Bellichick, and repeat all of the mistakes of the Mike Ditka era.

I'm ready to make the postseason. Things happen making the playoffs, pressure, luck, juju, heroics etc.

I understand the fatigue of watching a bad loss but having a chance is better than not - makes the week fun..HOPE.

I had a coach tell me once after a painful loss.

" if you can't take the pain of losing, you don't deserve the glory of winning ".

Stuff happens, let's hope today is that Day :-)

I expect both of these will happen and we will lock up the division and a wild card spot.
