stating on Fox just now that the Saints were offering 3rd rounder for Lynch and would have outbid Seattle

I'd rather the pick. Lynch hasn't been that good this year and he wouldn't have put us over the top and made us a Superbowl team.

The Geico Caveman has been trash all season. The only time he could do something was against that abomination the Saints call a defense.

I agree, but look at the team he was on. I think he would have made a bigger impact here than JJ. And that painful run would have never happened.

Agreed. That piece also explains why Buffalo is in the situation they are in.

With our luck this year with RB's, if they would have been able to pull off the trade, he would gotten injured at some point & time. I've never seen a team that was more decimated at one position the entire season then the Saints were at running back this year.

Lynch is a decent running back, but the worst human being in the NFL

Didn't this bum steal $20 from a women eating at McDonald's? After signing a 6 year $19 million contract. Apparently Geico Caveman thought it was a good idea to actually steal form the wife of a sergeant in the local PD.

From someone who had him on his fantasy team this year, I agree 100%. He was a total bum. He had games where he literally rushed for fewer than 10 yards (and as a starter no less), but he makes one amazing run against the Saints and now everyone is wishing we had scooped him up from Buffalo. Looking back on it I don't think it would have been a bad move considering all the injuries, but I think he would have only been a slight upgrade from JJ at best. He's just not very good.

I gave up on him the week before he had his ONLY decent game of the regular season.
