so that makes the Saints receivers better?

If you include TE the Colts are better.

If not, it's close.

So what happens if you include Bush? Or David Thomas?

If you include Clark then I could see that. Dude is that good.

Just receivers, and it's a terrible argument. I'm just pissed because I think Drew got robbed in MVP voting this year and the argument behind it was Peyton did almost as good with a weaker supporting cast. They're going back on that argument now.

when speaking of "receivers" it's usually implied to mean WRs or WR and TE's.

i included him in my TE assumption. Nice signing, very underrated, but not a factor compared to Clark. Clark is freakishly good right now.

Some hack on JRiB also just said, RE the Dwight Freeney injury, "it's not going to matter. The Colts are going to put up so many points that what they do defensively won't make a difference." WTF?

I'm guessing many of you did not see the catches Garcon was making last weekend? Some of them were truly outstanding.

The reason the Saints aren't getting respect is people always remember how teams have looked recently, and the Saints have struggled against the Cowboys, Bucs, and Vikings.

Had you done this after the Patriots game or any game before the Cowboys game, they would have said the Saints are better.

It's all about perception based on how a team has looked recently.

So the Colts looking good has nothing to do with them playing possibly the two weakest teams in the playoffs? I'm suprised nobody has said that in the media. Oh wait, no I'm not.

According to the media and the numbers, the Jets have some amazing defense (even though I personally don't believe that). According to the numbers, the Saints don't have a good defense. It's as simple as that.

Prove it. We are almost exactly the same as IND but with more turnovers.

They disrespected us..we beat the Cardinals. They turned on more disrespect and we beat the Vikings. Their jobs and status as "experts" now called into question by everyone, they are in an all out effort to put us down. Minimum compliments always zeroed out with criticism, combined with 10 times the air time given to the Colts.

To say are better is a joke. Colston and Meacham are tall receivers that can catch in traffic or run for a long pass. Moore is an awesome possession receiver when healthy. Henderson has had the best yards per catch of any receiver for the past several years. That is balance most teams do not see. Adding Dallas Clark boost them up a bit, but not above the Saints. Include the RB's, and it is no comparison.

This would probably sum it up.
