they aren't looking at W/L for schedule strength. Rather, they are looking at the accumulation of yards against a good pass defense (for example) or stuffing the running attack of a poor run defense..

i thought so too, but apparently it looks past regular W/L SOS, so its pretty legit, now its not the best predictor, it did have the Jets with the same chance of winning last week that it did this week

SOS in the NFL is rather absurd, you beat the teams you play and your schedule becomes weak.

We played essentially the same teams as Tampa bay subbing them for us and their SOS is tough because they lost games and ours is weak because we won games. If we would have lost one more game and MN won one more we'd have the better SOS and both of us would have played the same teams.

Very simply, the Vikings are a fine team, but they’ve faced a very week schedule this year.

Jeeeez....

We all know that the Saints had a tougher schedule weak in and weak out.

The NFL is down this year IMO. But you have to beat those panzies too. And the Saints and Vikes did it until the end. The close games earlier were because of turn overs and a slow start. But yet we came back and won.
I wanna see the team that beat N.England and the Cardinals on the field, and we win the SB.
