Greatest run in team history and well worth everything it took to make it happen.

I hope 2013 was not the swan song but even if it was we would have matched the franchise record for postseason wins prior to Brees/Payton with that 1 WC win on the road.

So many great memories.

Now, what could work is the Mannings buy into the team for 3-500M and cover the estate taxes for Rita et al.

Then you're partners wth Rita.

Sounds good, huh?

Damn goat. I didn't know you were that old. I've only been around since the mid 80's. I've seen some lean years. Enough to appreciate this run and rebuild.
Wow, you don't know what lean years are if you are that young.

Whatever gets their foot in the door. The Mannings becoming owners of the Saints would be awesome.

I agree.

No way I'd partner with any of those other nuts, though.

I think it was because of the 'Mannings' part.

I've been a Saints fan since the '70s.

I never thought I'd live to Saints win the Super Bowl.

Of course it was all worth it.

Ask a Viking or Bengal fan what they'd give for a Lombardi.

Ask a Browns ('64) or Eagles ('60) fan what they'd do for a SB victory. Ask a fan of the Lions, who IIRC have won 1 post season game since 1957.

Whenever I watch a Saints game, talk about the team, read this board, or just think about the Saints, that Lombardi Trophy is there.

As a man of science, and letters, you know the statistical odds of it happening again in your lifetime.

So for that reason, you grip the past like a hooker and a Benjamin. Time, as it were, is not on your side. History, however, is.

Suck that tiger dick bitch.
