My image of Walsh is him late in a tight game trying to spike the ball at the opponent's one yard line, but fumbling the ball in the air where it was intercepted by a defensive player and returned for a TD so the Saints lose...

One of the more embarrassing Saints memories I have...

Was just a kid, watching the game with my cousin. Didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
The dark days. Oh how the Saints fortune has turned.

Billy Kilmer. Beer Belly Billy. That noodle arm couldn't throw a spiral if his life depended on it. Spent many a Sunday at Tulane Stadium with the rest of the boo birds booing him.

Dave Wilson and Heath Shuler are the worst I can remember.
Anyone who says it's Aaron Brooks, just admit you're not being objective or you're only comparing him to Brees. Sadly, Brooks was one of the best. He shouldn't even be mentioned here.

The worst part was him standing there, trying to sell the "spike" to the ref. All the while the defender is running downfield.

Does not list the current backup to Brees.

Dave Wilson.
I'll never forget the time he collided w/ Reuben Mayes on a simple handoff on a dive play and fumbled the ball away late in a game against the Giants. It cost the Saints the game.

Ive been watching since the Bum Philips days when we would get embarrassed by Seifert and Montana twice a year. Based on who Ive watched and without looking at stats, Dave Wilson was the epitome of frustration. God he was awful.
:sarcasm: thanks for the memories
/sarcasm
Oh, and Brooks was sadly one of our better QBs. I don't want to put him over Hebert but his stats do look better and he won us a playoff game with a worse defense.

How about the Billy Joe Package? Hobert and Tolliver.
