I met him at a saints game once. If only we had him or someone else as Smashmouth as him. By the way, I liked your male cartoon avatar better.

i really dont get this thought process. what team has mark ingram that high on their board? no one over pays for RBs anymore. i think theres a better chance he returns to the saints than leaving.

take a look at all the RB free agents. i seriously doubt teams are just waiting to pay ingram.

People didn't believe how overrated Trent was in college. His strength and power rarely transferred to the field.

It takes him to long to get momentum. If you get to him before he picks up a full head of steam, then he's going down pretty easy. I don't remember him running through many tackles or trucking anyone. Ingram was/is a better running back with better vision that Trent.

But we all can agree that they need that bruiser back that pierre thomas, travaris cadet, and ect just don't fully provide

Robinson does and Ingram isn't really a bruising back

God I hope not. He has been a bust. He has one SEMI decent year in what, 4 years? I can't see teams lining up to pay him either. He is an average, to slightly below average NFL back. I get that Saints backs haven't rushed for 1,000 yards in the Saints pass happy offense....but backs should be tearing it up when they do get the chance to run.....like Ivory or other backs that the Saints have had that come out of nowhere. The yards per carry for Ingram have not been great up to this year.......good riddens.

He ran for 4.9 YPC in 2013, so stop with that nonsense. He had two good years from a YPC standpoint, and two slightly below average years from a YPC standpoint.

Yep. He's a good running back. Probably not worth a new contract unless it is very team friendly with our system and the value of running backs though. Robinson basically counts for 0 against the cap
