With a win like that, there's not much to pick apart.

But one mistake that could have been a turn around, was the fumble by Ridley that went into the endzone. Why didn't the DB just fall on it instead to running it out to the 3-4yd line? Wouldn't kneeling it give the Saints the ball on the 20 or 25yd line?

As long as we're nitpicking, on the TD pass to Arnold, I could see him getting flagged if his spike had hit the ref. It came within a foot or two of beaning him.

Yeah, he was just too excited.

The offense as a whole wasn't up to our admittedly absurd standards.
But I am not gonna worry about it.
It was a very short week.

yes but if you watch the play his momentum going to grab the ball made him come out of the end zone. he did what he could after that but he was concentrating on getting the ball rather then where he was on the field so i cant fault him for that mistake, but you "are" right it was a mistake by not realizing where he was

Going for 10+ on several 3rd and 2’s when we were averaging 6 yds per carry

Also one or two empty backfield plays on 3rd and short. Payton has been better about that this year than in the past, but it shouldn't happen at all unless Hill is QB.

Yea, he scooped it in stride, it was worth the shot because if you get away from the receiver, often times you only have o lineman and the QB to beat.
