Last year of his contract, and with Colston and Moore recently inked, Graham certainly to follow after this year, and if Toon turns out to be what everyone thinks he will, do the Saints bring him back?

What kind of season does he need to have for the team to want him back? He's been Louisiana through and through. I really hope he finishes out career in B&G.

If he wants more than $3 million/year he is probably done.

Well we'll still need a speedster to replace him (even though he has slowed down a bit) because Colston and Moore are not that type of WR. And our other deep threat signed elsewhere so if we find a guy to fill that void he could very well be gone.

I think this will be his last year especially if Toon and Morgan shine. There were times last year where I didn't even know Devery was in the game.

All I know is if he's our #2 receiver, we're in big trouble.

On a serious note, maybe. Depends on how his body holds up and how well Morgan and Toon come along.

I looked at his stats and it's hard to believe that he's only caught 19 TD's for his entire career. There's been times where it seems like he just vanishes, which is crazy considering how much Drew spreads it around.

Well he's used a lot to run off coverage. Teams rather not give up the deep ball against us. He's pretty unselfish in the fact that he'll run full speed knowing that he won't get the ball.

If Joe Morgan has the monster breakout season many experts believe he will then I could see Devery retiring, especially if we win the Super Bowl.

He was my best receiver on Madden 08. You even get to have both Reggie and Deuce on the old x-box version.

Somebody before the 09 season (I think it was Lester Earl) said if DH was our #2 we're in trouble. The only reason I know this is because someone linked it earlier this year.

I hope he everything as well. But it always seems like the ones that make it are the ones not expected to do so.

If you go back, the stats have held pretty consistent over the years for all our WRs (except for Moore's big year when Colston was hurt)

Colston & Graham will be the go to guys. Sproles and PT will get a good amount of looks. Moore will get about 40 catches and Devery will get about 30 catches. Why mess with a good thing (unless Devery is looking for a big payday or something).

Why do people want to get rid of Devery every training camp?

I don't. He's one of my favorite players. Loved him at LSU and here. I just saw a WWL tweet where someone asked this question and they didn't think he would be back. Just with all the weapons we have now, and considering his contributions have been marginal at best, I really don't see the FO bending over backwards to keep him if he asks for big money. But like I said earlier, I hope he finishes his career here.
